Reward out of stock
Why a Storefront reward shows as out of stock, why Salad cannot say when it will be back, and what to do in the meantime.
Most rewards on the Storefront come from third-party providers. When the provider has no stock, Salad's listing goes out of stock too, and it comes back as soon as the provider restocks. Salad generally does not hold its own inventory of codes and does not get restock dates from providers, so support cannot tell you when a reward will return.
Some rewards may be out of stock for a long time, depending on the provider's ability to restock these items.
What to do
- Check back. Listings return automatically when the provider restocks; there is nothing to request.
- Choose another reward. Many gift cards and cash-like rewards (PayPal, prepaid Visa and Mastercard) cover the same stores. Check the region before you redeem.
- Change your target. A targeted reward is only a progress bar. Your Salad Balance stays yours whatever you target, so you can switch targets at any time without losing anything, and switch back when the reward is restocked.
Redeemed and then Canceled?
If a redemption shows Canceled or Failed in your Reward Vault, the provider could not fullfil it and your Salad Balance is returned automatically. Refresh the app or the website if you do not see it, then contact Salad Support if it still has not come back.
