I can't enter my email address to log in
What to do when the login page won't accept your email or says the one-time code email couldn't be sent: a full inbox, a spam blocklist, or an unsubscribe on your address.
Salad signs you in with a one-time code sent by email. If the login page stops at the email step with one of these messages, the code email couldn't be sent to your address:
- "Login failed due to a spam blocklist preventing Salad from sending your one-time login code email."
- "Something went wrong, please try again." / "...please try again later. If this issue persists, please reach out to our support team at [email protected]"
The same error on every device and browser confirms it's the address, not the PC.
What to do
- Make room in your inbox. A full mailbox bounces the code email. Delete or archive some mail and try again.
- Check spam and filters. Look in the spam folder for earlier Salad emails and mark them "not spam"; add salad.com to your safe senders.
- If you've unsubscribed or marked Salad as spam before, our mail provider has blocked your address and the code
can't be delivered until you opt back in. Ask support to reset it:
- Open a ticket with Salad Support from the account's email address, saying you can't sign in and need to opt back in to emails. The address you write from must match the account.
- Reply to the "ticket received" email from the same address, giving explicit permission to receive emails again.
- Wait for the confirmation email, then sign in.
If the login page accepts the email but the app then stays on "Connecting", that's a different problem: Trouble connecting to the Salad app.
