FAQ on PayPal rewards

What currencies are supported?

  • Salad supports PayPal redemptions in USD (United States Dollar), and EUR(Euro).
  • Direct conversions to the following currencies are offered by PayPal: AUD, CAD, MXN, GBP.
  • Redemptions to PayPal accounts set to other countries may not offer the ability to convert your redemption into your local currency, and will be receivable in USD or EUR only.

How long will it take for my PayPal redemption to arrive?

  • Most PayPal redemptions should process within 24 hours.
  • Some PayPal redemptions may take longer if they decide to review the redemption. You should still receive it in a few days.
  • You can check the status of your redemption in your Reward Vault. You can find more information about the Reward Vault available here: Reward Vault.
  • You will receive a confirmation email from PayPal confirming that you have received your redemption.

How do I connect my PayPal account?

  • If you are experiencing trouble connecting your PayPal account, please follow our troubleshooting steps available here: I can't connect my PayPal account.
  • You can unlink your PayPal account at any time by clicking "Unlink PayPal Account" at the foot of your profile page.
  • You can only link one PayPal account at any one time.

Is there a limit to PayPal redemptions?

  • You are limited by the daily redemption limit, more information is available here: Maximum daily withdrawal.
  • Otherwise, you are only limited by how much Salad Balance you have.
  • You may need to have verified your PayPal account to receive past a certain threshold. More information can be found on PayPal's website.

Can I transfer money from my PayPal account into my Salad account?

  • We only offer the ability to redeem your Salad Balance for PayPal balance.
  • You cannot transfer balance from your PayPal account to your Salad Balance.

Can I refund my PayPal redemption?

  • Like all other store rewards, we do not offer the ability to refund a PayPal redemption.
  • Once a PayPal redemption is triggered, you cannot cancel or refund your redemption, even if it's still pending.
  • If you redeem a PayPal reward to the wrong PayPal account, we cannot cancel or pause the redemption. Make sure you have the correct PayPal account connected before redeeming your reward.
