I can't connect my PayPal account

If you're trying to connect your PayPal account to your Salad account, but have reached an error, failure, or blank white page, please try the troubleshoot steps outlined below.


Log in to the website

If you aren't authenticated on the Salad website, you may not be able to connect your PayPal account.

  1. Open up https://salad.com/store on your web browser.
  2. Log in using the "Login" button found at the top left, or right of the page.
  3. Enter your email address, and your one-time-password.
  4. Navigate to your account at the top right.
  5. Try connecting your PayPal account again by clicking the blue "Log In With PayPal" button found near the bottom of your account page.

Try another Web Browser

Due to privacy protection features, and Cookie blockers, you may not be able to connect your PayPal account using some Web Browsers.

  1. Open Google Chrome, or Microsoft Edge if Google Chrome is not available.¹
  2. Open up https://salad.com/store in your address bar.
  3. Log in using the "Login" button found at the top left, or right of the page.
  4. Enter your email address, and your one-time-password.
  5. Navigate to your account at the top right.
  6. Try connecting your PayPal account again by clicking the blue "Log In With PayPal" button found near the bottom of your account page.

(¹) Most Chromium based Web Browsers (excluding Brave Browser) should work correctly, along with most independent Web Browsers. Brave Browser and Safari are unsupported Browsers, and Firefox is partially unsupported due to Enhanced Tracking Protection.


Other troubleshooting steps

  • If you use a custom DNS or VPN, or use a browser extension, that can disable Cross-Website Tracking, you may need to temporarily disable it whilst connecting your PayPal account. Salad and PayPal must be able to send and receive required Cookies to and from each other in order to connect your account.
  • A Salad service may be down, check our status page or try again later.
