How to Whitelist Salad in F-Prot

1. Open F-Prot

This will be the main screen you are presented within F-Prot, and is your base of virus-fighting operations.

2. Navigate to Settings

To access F-Prot’s settings, click on ‘Virus Scanners’ situated on the above tabs.

3. Navigate to Exclusions

After you have navigated to your settings, click on ‘Exclusions’ from the ‘Advanced’ tab situated on the left of the screen.

4. Adding Salad as an Exclusion

After clicking on ‘Exclusions’, you will see your exclusion list. From there, click on ‘Folder’ and click on ‘Browse’. After that you’ll want to navigate to the Salad miner folder and select it, the path for this is “C:\ProgramData\Salad\workloads” and click ‘Ok’

5. Click on 'Ok'

Once you’ve found your Salad miner folder and clicked ‘Open’, hit ‘Ok’, and it will bring you back to the main F-Prot exclusion page with your newly added exclusion.

6. Run Salad

Open your Salad widget and click the play button.  Contact support here if this issue persists
