What happened to Offerwalls?

We retired Offerwalls on April 30, 2021 in response to overwhelming negative feedback from Chefs.

When were they removed?

The Offerwalls were removed from the Earn section of the Salad app on April 30, 2021. Effective May 10, 2021 at 12pm Mountain Time Offerwalls are now entirely removed from the application, with no payouts continuing. Incomplete offers and payout events received after May 10, 2021 at 12pm Mountain Time will not be credited.

Why are they being removed?

We are always looking for new ways to help Chefs earn Salad Balance. Offerwalls seemed to be a great option for some Chefs, but they often failed to work correctly. Too many Chefs failed to get their payouts, even after filing support requests with the Offerwall providers. We removed Offerwalls to focus on creating new ways for your computer to earn sweet Salad Balance.

Offerwalls were my only way of earning, now what?

We understand that some Chefs are unable to chop with Salad. We're sorry that this may leave you unable to earn Salad Balance. We are constantly on the lookout for new ways of earning, and there may be a way for you to earn with Salad again in the future. We recommend staying subscribed to our newsletter to learn more as these features come online.

What about balance I have already earned?
Any unspent Salad Balance you earned from Offerwalls is already part of your account. It is not impacted by this change and your Salad Balance will not be affected.
