After you navigate to settings, you’ll want to navigate to the ‘Exceptions Lists’ tab as pictured below.

4. Adding an Exception

After you have navigated to the ‘Exception Lists’ tab, you will see your exclusion list as the name implies. To add an exception, click on ‘+ Add’. Make sure that, you’re on the ‘Programs/Folder’ tab.

5. Adding Salad as an Exception

A new window will appear once you have clicked ‘+ Add’. In that window, click on ‘Browse’. And after that, you’ll want to navigate to the Salad miner folder and select it, the path for this is “C:\ProgramData\Salad\workloads” and click ‘Open’.

6. Click 'Ok'

Once you’ve found your Salad miner folder and clicked ‘Open’, hit ‘Ok’, and it will bring you back to the main TrendMicro exception page with your newly added exception. Make sure to click ‘Apply’ on there again.
